The social program includes a welcome reception with entertainment on Sunday evening, July 15th at the Cairns Convention Centre, starting at 5:30 pm. Each day, there will be morning and afternoon tea and lunches provided. Posters may be viewed throughout the conference, but the poster sessions will be held during the lunch breaks on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

The conference dinner will be held at the Pullman Reef Hotel, adjacent to the Casino in central Cairns on Thursday evening, July 19th with drinks starting at 7 pm. There will be entertainment throughout the evening. Those who wish to continue late into the night can do so at one of the several bars and clubs within the Casino.

Wednesday will be a free day for you to relax and enjoy some of the wonderful attractions in the Cairns area. Many tours will be available through our tour distributor. Please use the links to select your tour. Note that payment for the tours is separate from registration. If you wish to select other tours available through other operators, you are welcome to do so. Our tour management company Destination Cairns will have a desk in the Cairns Convention Centre during the conference so you can make additional bookings on site.

Partners program

Partners may wish to register with the conference. In doing so, they will receive a name badge as well as tickets for the welcome reception and the conference dinner. In addition, partners will be invited to a meet & greet on Monday morning at 9 am in the Cairns Convention Centre. They will have the opportunity to meet the other partners and plan activities and tours. A representative from Destination Cairns will be available during the meet and greet to provide advice and make tour arrangements if desired.

Partners who wish to pay a fee to attend any of the lunch sessions at the Cairns Convention Centre should contact the conference organisers upon arrival to make arrangements.
